CBM (formerly Christian Blind Mission) is the world’s largest international development organisation working to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities in the poorest countries. It partners with local organisations in the lower-income regions of the world, with the aim of building and promoting an inclusive world in which all persons with disabilities enjoy their human rights and achieve their full potential. CBM has Member Associations raising funds and awareness of disability issues in ten countries worldwide, including Australia.
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the executive team and Board, you will drive the business operations of CBM including Finance, IT and Administration. In addition you will be the Public Officer and have responsibility for Board reporting, Governance and Strategic Planning.
Business acumen, financial nous and strategic thinking are required, plus sound understanding of Board governance. Proven top management experience and ability to lead change, innovation and growth are essential.
