George spent his early career undertaking management functions with some of the largest retail organisations in the UK, and has a track record of business improvement and functionality development. Since 1999, he has worked as a Human Resources Consultant in the UK and Australia, often with an international mandate, building expertise at Executive Search and business consultancy level. 

He has had extensive exposure to a variety of sectors, particularly in the built environment, supply chain management and manufacturing sectors.  He has undertaken a broad range of assignments for clients, from Board-level Executive Search and general recruitment to the design and implementation of large-scale multi-disciplinary recruitment campaigns for major corporate entities.

A native of Dunfermline in Scotland, George read Law at the University of Edinburgh, and subsequently studied Russian Language & European Politics at the University of Bath. He moved from the UK to Melbourne in 2004 and is now an Australian Citizen.  He has begun working towards an MBA to enhance his understanding of his clients’ businesses. 

An avid golfer and general sports fan, George is a long-suffering season ticket holder and member of the Carlton Football Club.
