The Burnet Institute is internationally renowned for undertaking medical research and public health programs to address the major health problems of disadvantaged and poor communities. With expanded world-class Melbourne laboratories, and offices in Asia, Africa and the Pacific, Burnet's contribution to global health continues to grow.

Reporting to the COO, you will establish and grow revenue streams from development activities, combining both the strategic and hands-on aspects of this diverse and stimulating role. Working in a collegiate environment with senior staff, and the recently appointed Head of Philanthropy, you will manage an enthusiastic Development team to create and implement fundraising programs.

This key position demands an experienced professional who can think strategically, work in partnership with a senior team, manage staff, prioritise decisions and understand CRM databases.
