Parkinson’s Australia is the peak nationwide agency, representing the needs and interests of people with Parkinson’s to all levels of government, seeking improved funding for services, research and awareness. Parkinson’s is a neurological condition that affects over 300,000 Australians, their families and carers.

Reporting to the Board, you will have national strategic responsibility for policy development, advocacy, partnerships and stakeholder liaison.  Under a federated structure, you will collaborate with each state organisation who provides important support, information, education, advocacy and services for their members.

Your strong background in advocacy, policy development and public affairs is vital to your success. You will have an understanding of the political landscape, superior communication and submission writing skills, and the ability to manage stakeholders in a complex environment.
